He awoke the dead
but that doesn’t tell
the rest of the story
it isn’t easy
to build up the courage
to ask for help
it isn’t easy
to admit our lack of control
and surrender ourselves
and our loved ones
to someone greater
it isn’t easy
to have faith
when so many have failed us
time and time again
it isn’t easy
to say yes
when we don’t know
what all that entails
but it is our yeses
no matter how reluctant
that God uses
to perform miracles
